Jena Radnay, and the focus of her real estate business, is all about people. Radnay’s love for real estate, houses, marketing, and people has allowed her business to grow organically, albeit explosively, in large part from referrals from her extensive network of contacts and connections.
Originally from Hinsdale, Radnay earned a degree in nursing from Georgetown University, though she never practiced as a nurse. After graduating, Jena moved back to Chicago, where she went through a series of eight intense interviews to land a coveted job at a top advertising agency, DDB Worldwide Chicago.
The skills and experience Jena gained from working for one of the country’s top marketing agencies have helped her provide her clients with the most advanced, out-of-the-box marketing and promotional techniques to effectively market and sell homes.
"Mcdonald's was my client, and I was in meetings presenting ideas to the CEO, the president, the head of marketing, so I always had to have my act together," Radnay says.
"I was always challenged in a good way, and always had to be on my A game.”
But after years of high-level marketing meetings and many creative marketing campaigns, Jena knew something was missing. "I found myself at work always looking at housing websites, just sitting there and scrolling through them or giving friends advice when they were buying. I knew I had to do something with that passion."
Radnay left advertising and within her first two weeks as a REALTOR, she closed her first million-dollar deal, confirming to herself that she truly had the right skill set for a successful real estate career. Jena quickly became a top-producing agent in Chicago and then turned her attention to real estate on the North Shore.
